"Good hotel in a lovely location up a hill through olive groves. Great terrace outside the bar with a view of the hills. Good restaurant with a decent choice of meals and wines. The only downside is that while the staff were able to supply a password for the bar wi-fi, they didn't seem to know the password for the wi-fi networks covering the accommodation buildings (and my Spanish wasn't good enough to enquire further)."

"Fabulous modern hotel made to look like the castle nearby. Lots of quirky features. Room superb, lovely bed linen and towels. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body cream all available in-room. "Europa is a mid-range hotel in the newer section of the city. The accommodations are basic, but ok. The breakfast is basic, but ok. Prior to the arrival, the hotel repeatedly sent us messages regarding its restictive check-in times and payment policy. On several occasions we tried to call them with payment, but the phone wasn't answered. The main issue we have with this property is regarding security. We were given one electronic cardkey, which had both the hotel name and the room number on it....

"The Hostel is situated on elevated ground pretty far from the train station. So if you have a luggage, you will have to lug approximately 2KM and uphill to the property. Otherwise, the front reception staff is friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is pretty good compared to many other hostels"

"Back in 1970 this was probably a lovely hotel, unfortunately it’s not been touched since and is now very dated, worn and unkempt. The area outside is filthy and much of the local area is semi derelict. Soundproofing is non existent so you’d better hope for considerate neighbours. "

"The hotel is remote from the historical area and with the steep hills in town its good to drive up to the centre of town. The bar and restaurant are not in the hotel and even tho they are only about 50 yards away not very convenient especially for breakfast in winter! The staff were very friendly and helpful but with the location of the hotel and its condition I would not stay there again."

"The AC system in the room was out of service. Being in the attic the temp in the room was worm what made sleeping very difficult. There was a very strong smell to sewers inside the elevator to the second floor that was also noticeable in the second floor corridor. "
