"Casa Belavista is a wonderful property. It has everything. Inside it’s spacious, very well presented and well equipped. Outside it has a lovely large pool, and a large and beautifully maintained garden with a beautiful vista. It’s so quiet and peaceful and a great place to escape and unwind, but accessible to many places such as Coimbra, Lousã and the stunning hill villages of that region. The host couldn’t have been more helpful. We’re so glad we chose and stayed at the property."

"The property was wonderful. It felt traditional, yet modern. Mark and Lerryn were fantastic hosts. They were always on hand should we need any help or support. The pool and patio area were sublime. We spent many a day relaxing and cooking in these areas. The only negative that we experienced was how uncomfortable we found the beds. Im a side sleeper, so find very hard beds no good for my hips or shoulders. My partner also found the beds to be too hard. We had to sleep downstairs on the sofabed,...

"This house was perfect. We've been renting holiday houses for about 10 years and this is possibly the best. Our family of four (kids aged 10 and 12) loved the size of the house, the cleanliness, the fruit trees in the garden and the amazing views but best of all we loved the fact that it has everything: a wide range of books, loads of DVDs, games, every last kitchen utensil and a bundle of hammocks. "We LOVED our stay here! Right from when we checked in, we got a glass of champagne and a snack, followed by a wonderful breakfast hand delivered to our room the next morning. Everything was spotless, and the staff was very welcoming. The only thing that you should be aware of is there is no lift, so if you can’t do stairs, ask for a main floor suite. Highly recommend this place in Coimbra! "

"Our stay was absolutely amazing! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of everything, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. The property itself is charming, with the unique character and ambiance of a vintage pharmacy that adds so much personality to the experience. Added benefits were an elevator, a rooftop with incredible views, and nice hot shower. Juan at the front desk was exceptional—so helpful, friendly, and full of fantastic dinner recommendations. "I book this property because I needed an over night stay during my road trip through Portugal. My only regret not staying longer. Staff: Friendly, nice and very accommodating. Accommodations: the property has a unique design with a full service restaurant on the roof. The rooms are just pictured and surprisingly comfortable. Location: Central right by the bridge with shops and sights literally around the corner. Back to the food… I had one of the BEST shrimp dishes I’ve ever had in my life. I’m embarrassed to say it was so good I literally order two of them. Don’t let the concept of the hotel deter you. I had a very enjoyable stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat. "
