"This property was very nice and quiet. Set up on top of a hill with beautiful views and sitting out on the back porch was great. Grilling and watching the Olympics. The inside had so many neat old things that made the cabin charming. Bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed watching the deer every evening . 10/10 would recommend. David and Martha were great and responded quickly. They even left fresh eggs and sausage fruit was a nice touch."

"What a beautiful and relaxing place to stay! We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, the cool, refreshing pool, the abundance of birds and flowers and the many deer just sauntering by in the neighborhood. It was a short drive to the farmer's market, shopping, the brewery and restaurants. The entire place was very comfortable. Looking forward to visiting Kerrville again - Carol's Cottage is the perfect place to stay!"

"We found the communication punctual and thoughtful, the property was centrally located and very clean. The house was styled in comfortable and trendy furnishings - super cute! Plus, we stayed in the unit on the 4th of July and were able to see the entire firework display from the front yard. There is construction on the road right now (July 2024), but was certainly quiet at night. We come to Kerrville often to see my in laws and need overflow sleeping…I imagine we will be back!"

"The atmosphere is so relaxing. People our friendly. So much to do just at the cottage; biking, walking, kayaking, fishing. You don't have to even leave the cottage. Great food to eat along the Guadalupe River. Definelty going back. Oh and this was our 2nd trip to Cottage by the Sunset. Can't wait for the 3rd trip already :)"
