"It is a super nice place to get away to when you’re tired of the hustle and bustle and want peace and quiet. Beautiful view. Very responsive and communicative host. They literally thought of everything with this place. Bring yourselves and food. Hosts took care of any other need. I wish that we could have paddle boarded and fished, but lily pads made that impossible. It is a very serene place to be. Close to many places to hike. We would give it another try."

"The Oak Cottage was exactly as described and had everything we needed. The location is quiet and tranquil with the Creek just down the hill. We arrived very late but the owner was a gem and brought us a lantern to combat the power outage caused by tornados in the area. 10/10 will stay again."

There is no TV, which is great for connecting, but bring games or books in case it rains. The cabin is very clean and the kitchen has everything you need to make meals."
