Our room was spacious, beautifully designed with elegant linens, and filled with stunning artwork throughout the building that made every hallway feel like a gallery. One of the most impressive aspects was the daily housekeeping. Our bed was made each morning and the room tidied—a level of care and attention that seems lost in many American hotels, even at high-end resorts. It was refreshing to feel genuinely taken care of, rather than having to chase down basic customer service. (Yes, Disney—this one’s for you!) The atmosphere of Palazzo Cannavina was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was a highlight—served upon request and beautifully presented, it felt more like being a guest in someone’s refined home than staying in a hotel and with Castello Monforte just steps from your door, you’re quite literally surrounded by history. Campobasso itself is a hidden gem. The local shopping and dining were charming, with an authenticity that’s hard to find in more tourist-heavy spots.
