"Loved the proximity to lake for views and walks. Restaurant provided delicious meal options for lunch and dinner or there is a cafe across the road for breakfast. Parking at rear is limited so you may end up parking on street. No lift in accommodation area if you have heavy bags. Rooms and bathrooms are very neat and tidy and serviced daily if you want. Friendly staff."

"My partner and I stayed at the Macquarie 4 Star (locals referred to it as 'The Club') for one night in room 007. Access to the property, parking, and check-in was very easy. There wasn't much to do at check-in other than receive the key cards, give them my contact details, and choose whether we wanted to pre-book the buffet breakfast (not included with room, additional $20pp if pre-booked or $25pp if you show up unannounced). I was a bit miffed at the venue for charging my card a few days...
