Welcome to your 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment located in Grand Central Towers complex. Please note that there are currently construction activities taking place in the building across from us. The construction work takes place every day from 8am to 4pm.

BEDROOM:
The bedrooms have queen-sized beds topped with professionally cleaned and pressed linen. They also have plenty of wardrobe space for your luggage.
BATHROOM:
The bathrooms have showers and toilets. We provide bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and body wash. You will need to re-stock depending on usage frequency and length of stay.
KITCHEN:
You can use the kitchen if you're craving a home-cooked meal. While you stay you will have access to the following:
- fridge/freezer
- stovetop
- microwave
- oven
- crockery and cutlery
- dishwasher
We stock a simple selection of food for breakfast such as muesli, milk, coffee and tea. Guests will need to purchase food items for longer stays.
LIVING ROOM:
The living room has a 50" Hisense smart TV which you can use. It also has access to local channels. Use your own logins to access smart-related apps.
LAUNDRY AREA:
A washer and dryer are available to use, as well as an iron and ironing board.
PARKING:
The parking garage provides parking space for one car. Some free street parking for 15 mins (Mon-Fri) and pick up and set down spots in front of the building and heaps of paid parking around the building.
COMMON AREAS & AMENITIES:
You will have access to the building's BBQ Area, gym, pool and common garden/courtyard/rooftop throughout your stay. To access the amenities from the unit, take the hallway path to the right before reaching the elevators. The gym uses the air key for entry, and the pool, courtyard and BBQ are through the door at the end of the hallway.
The common areas are managed by the building management and can be closed without prior notice to owners. We try our best to get the most accurate information to update the listing description as much as we can. In this regard, please check for building announcements at the time of your arrival to confirm the availability of common areas.
There is a key-safe for self check-in. Only 1 guest key set is provided. Please take care not to lose the keys as their replacement will incur a fee.
I am available mostly through Airbnb messaging but I give privacy to my guests. If there is an urgent issue, you can always call me.

Phillip is the heart of Woden, home to the area’s town centre. It’s an area that’s going through a massive transformation, with a huge range of new developments and revitalized spaces.
Apartments are aplenty, both older and brand new. Westfield Woden has recently added the Bradley Street dining precinct, a lot of restaurants, bars, and other casual eateries.
The suburb has plenty of sporting facilities, including playing fields, gyms, and Phillip Swimming and Ice-Skating Centre, which is home to Canberra’s ice hockey team, the CBR Brave.
State-of-the-art healthcare is always close by thanks to Canberra’s main hospital, and plenty of public transport from the Woden Bus Interchange means the area is well-connected to the rest of town.
There are heaps of shops, bars, and restaurants within very short walking distance.
The bus interchange is right behind the building to take you anywhere you want to go in Canberra.
Woden is the geographic centre of Canberra, so nothing is far away.
NOTE:
You can access the common area using the remote but unfortunately, the pool and outdoor areas are out of order including access to the GYM & BBQ so we can only access the bar room.
Any violation of our no-party rule will result in a $2000 non-negotiable penalty, in addition to any damages.
1. Let us know if you need to check in early or leave later than the standard check-in/out times. We'd need to collect $20 for the first 30 minutes and an additional $40 for the next 30-minute increments when there is a breach in the observance of standard check-in and out times.
2. I have a STRICT "No Pets Policy" and "No Smoking Policy". These are applicable inside and outside of the property. Any breach will result in a fine of $400 plus any additional fees for specialised cleaning.
3. The cleaning fee covers the regular cleaning and linens in the property. As this is not a hotel, please try to leave the place as tidy as possible. If the property is extra messy when you leave, an extra cleaning fee will be requested (minimum of $50).
4. Please be sure you understand our cancellation policies. You can find our current policy on our Airbnb listing.
5. Only those persons who made the reservation may stay at our property. If you're a business or government agency booking for other people, please contact us in advance to ensure access details are made clear.
6. No parties or gatherings of more than the maximum number of people that can book the property. Any non-guests must leave by 10:00 pm. And there should strictly be no loud noise after 10:00 pm. There is a $2000 penalty if this house rule is breached.
7. There are some items in the kitchen (tea, coffee, sugar, milk) that you are welcome to use. Also, the pantry has a few basics (i.e. muesli). We don't stock in the refrigerator or provide any meals.
8. I list my property as not suitable for kids or infants as it is not child-proofed and we don't have baby amenities (i.e. high chair, cot). However, if the kids will be under adult supervision at all times, booking with children is no problem.
9. The property will be holding a security deposit for all stays. If no damages are identified, the full amount will be released within 3 days of check-out. In case of damages, necessary fees will be deducted, and affected parties will be promptly notified.
