Whiskey Way Inn welcomed our first guests in late October 2021 and we look forward to having you as our guest! Enjoy complete privacy, great amenities and amazing views that are all within 20 minutes to the heart of Asheville - best of both worlds!

Ideal for a group of up to 14, this house has every amenity you can think of - hot tub, fire pit, fire table, pool table, shuffle board, 60 game arcade with all of the classics, foos ball, dart board, 8 SMART TV's including the game room with Nintendo Switch, 2 kitchens plus an entertaining bar, theatre room....the list just goes on and on!!

Nestled on around 14 acres of private land, this 5 bedroom, 4 full bathroom house you won't find a better place for you to relax and reconnect with your friends and family! On the main level we have 3 bedrooms, the primary kitchen & living room, a separate sitting area with just amazing views plus the game room! On the lower level you'll find two additional bedrooms including one with it's own private kitchen, office for those unfortunate calls or meetings you may need to attend, theatre room and kids game room with Nintendo Switch - bring your own games or enjoy the couple we provide!

Wonderful Smokey Mountain home!
My daughter and her friends chose this property for their girls' senior trip this year. We were within 20 minutes of most activities they chose and loved the quiet, beautiful location. The house was filled with activities to keep them happy when we weren't out exploring. Everyone had an amazing time!

The house was fantastic! Plenty of space and outstanding accommodations. The game room and outdoor area were perfect for our group. Roughly 15-20 minutes from downtown Asheville. We will definitely consider this property again for future trips.

Spectacular Property
This property has everything anyone could want in a vacation property. Tons of room, lots of places to get time alone and large, comfy communal spaces. It is furnished with anything you could need and lots of “extra touches.” We really enjoyed the game room and the outdoor spaces. Just an incredible experience for our family.

Perfect for a Bachelorette Trip!
We had so much fun on a bachelorette trip! Slept 12 very comfortably with multiple sitting areas that everyone was able to be together. Property was beautiful! Around a 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville. We had a bus come pick us up and drop off at the house for a night out and it was perfect! This was the perfect house to hang out in for the day with plenty to do!

Perfect Bachelorette Party Cabin Getaway!
The house was spacious and perfect for our large party! Easy to communicate with the property manager for any of our needs and definitely plenty of stores/restaurants within driving distance to get to if needed! Highly recommend and would stay again if we ever need another mountain getaway!

Great Home For Family
Our stay was great. The kitchen has so many supplies, almost like being at home. We baked a cake! The views from the dining room were spectacular. And we loved hanging out in the game room together all weekend long. The fire pit area outside was a great place to make s’mores and hang out under the stars. This location was a great spot to access Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

This place is a gem. Kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance necessary. The house is spacious allowing 7 adults and 2 children room enough for privacy, and the game room was a huge hit for everyone. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Wonderful Thanksgiving
My family -7 adults and 6 children under the age of 6 spent Thanksgiving holiday here. We had a wonderful time! The house is huge- so spacious - clean, organized and very comfortable for our group. The grounds also offered so much for us to do with all of our littles- we really never had to leave. Before we left the owners were very accessible for any questions- it was a perfect holiday for us to spend somewhere other than our home and still feel at home.

Great family get-away
Beautiful house in beautiful setting. Quiet, secluded location was perfect for our family to come together and celebrate 2 anniversaries. The new concrete driveway was a plus. The kids (of all ages) thoroughly enjoyed the game room. The house and kitchen were well equipped and supplied for a large group stay. We would definitely rent this house again.

Absolutely amazing!
Completely perfect for our party of 10 + dogs!! Convenient to Asheville with ample privacy and so much space at the house. Drew was very easy and quick to communicate with. The driveway is a little steep (but has been recently paved) and I would recommend you get there the first time with daylight left. So much at this property to keep the kids in our party busy and plenty of both communal and private spaces within the house. Definitely would stay again!

Fall wedding extended weekend
Our family gathered at the property to stay in candler to be there for my daughters wedding at the Farm in Candler. The view from the family room is stunning. All of the amenities in the home provided a comfortable stay. We took advantage of the game room, hot tub and fire pit. My elderly mother says this is the most incredible home she has ever stayed in.

A beautiful and serene mountain stay
Our group loved staying in this beautiful property. We were there for a horse show, and there was plenty of room for us, along with lots of different and awesome community spaces. The KITCHEN was so well put together, we all agreed that a chef must own this home -- we had everything we needed! The downstairs fun area kept us all enjoying our time away from the show. Thanks again for an enjoyable home away from home! The couple of times we needed to reach out to the property management team, they responded right away and were extremely helpful.

Magnificent location with responsive hosts
We were a group of seven adults and two young children who stayed for a week. Drew and his host company were extremely responsive and accommodating from even before we decided to book. The location is breathtaking and tranquil, and easy to access anywhere we wanted to visit in Asheville. The house has a bit of a used feeling in the kitchen and bathrooms, but the pros overwhelmingly outweighed the cons. The house is well stocked with linens, toiletries and condiments. We enjoyed our evening walks in the neighborhood. Overall a memorable and wonderful family reunion, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

Perfect for a Large group!
We stayed at Whiskey Way as my husband was running the Asheville Marathon. There were 10 of us, ranging in age from 17-61. The house is very large, plenty of room for everyone to have their space. The kitchen and area as well as game room was enjoyed by everyone in our group. Some of us also enjoyed the hot tub. We did not use but there is also a theater room. We highly recommend Whiskey Way for your next group or large family gathering.

Great place to relax and reset
The whole process of staying here was an absolute breeze. Drew was accommodating and speedy with responses. Sometimes when planning out of town trips waiting on responses are a nightmare when trying to orchestrate a game plan. We celebrated my daughters 13th Birthday here and it was a memorable one. We are usually busy bodies but there is a calmness here. We didn’t leave the house our whole stay! Watching the sunset on the balcony while making s’mores was a highlight.

Spectacular spacious home!
Everyone was extremely pleased with this beautiful home. The great room of glass with a magnificent view was spectacular. Room and private space for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything even a gourmet chef could appreciate. The decor was tasteful and relaxing. Everyone enjoyed the game room. That was the big hit of the house. My only regret was that we couldn’t spend an additional week there to relax and unwind after the wedding. Thank you for providing us a beautiful home and being so quick to respond to my questions. Fabulous Home
The home surpassed our expectations. The game room became the family hub of activity. Even the four year old was fascinated by the Pac Man Arcade game. The living spaces were truly spacious and bright. We enjoyed every one of the locations--the hot tub, theater room, living room (for reading), the fabulous dining table, kitchen/bar area and the upstairs TV room. We noticed that the gameroom was cool. Much to my amazement, once we turned on the fireplace in the game room that room warmed quickly. The entire place was terrific, with living spaces and bedrooms/bathrooms that gave everyone the ability to have together time as well as a little "space!" Thank you! If we are ever back in the Asheville area, we will stay again!

Family time
The stay was perfect! Everyone had enough room and enough privacy. The beds were comfortable. The furniture was very nice and well kept. We adequate towels and supplies. The appliances were up to date and everything worked as it should. The game room was a little chilly because it's not insulated like the rest of the house but all of the games in the game room, dart board, Nintendo and Corn Hole kept our group entertained literally for hours. The view is great and very private, yet convenient to everything you may need and only 25 minutes from Asheville or Sierra Nevada Brewery. The description of the home really doesn't do it justice. I rented several places and this has been the nicest so far. My only suggestion or thing to note is the drive is gravel and some points are a little steep. The very top of the driveway would be difficult for car to climb. We had a pickup truck a Subaru and front wheel drive Hyundai Santa Fe and a BMW. The BMW could not make the top of the drive. The Santa Fe did with a little effort. There is a pull off just before the top of the drive that one could use to park. Overall great stay and would definitely rent again!

AMAZING FAMILY GET AWAY
Our stay at Whisky Way was simply amazing! Our group of twelve, ranging from an infant to an 85-year-old, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hot tub, game room (especially the Pac-Man machine), and fire pit provided endless entertainment. We loved gathering for card games at the enormous kitchen table and having movie nights on the spacious sectional. The house is both peaceful and secluded, yet conveniently located just minutes from a gym and grocery store. We would definitely return to this fantastic retreat!
