"The staff here was super friendly and prompt. I had a long day walking the Camino and loved that laundry was right across the street. And adjoining the hotel is a lovely cafe where I had breakfast in the morning. Quick service and delicious (especially the croissant). "Central location, grand exterior, room was generously sized but decor not particularly luxurious. A bit stuffy in the room ( 25 degrees c. ) as they turn off the climate control in the autumn, I guess to save energy/costs. The windows can be opened but that didn’t help if you want to shut out light and noise. Very helpful staff, organised transfers to/from Santiago with the excellent driver Adrian. I like the option of eschewing housekeeping service in return for a free drink at the bar. "
