"Cogne is simply beautiful. Small enough to be charming, big enough to stay busy and entertained. The Chateau Royal was a great home base. Centrally located, comfortable and we'll equipped. We originally booked two nights but added two more as it was such a great village with so much to do. We hiked, fished, rafted and paraglided plus catching some of the abundant castles and forts in the Sister Valley). This one is a do-over (we'll be back:-)."

"Big house in a large attractive garden with a pool. Responsive and friendly staff. But in an industrial zone surrounded by warehouses and by a busy noisy road. Four bedrooms but only upstairs has air conditioning, the three downstairs and living area are not air conditioned. Cooling with evening air limited due to abundant mosquitos. Supposedly can take 9 people, but only very few cups, glasses and no mugs, no frying pan. Two coffee machines but no coffee, barbecue but no charcoal. At this price...

"The apartment is located in a beautiful Medieval Village in the Aosta Valley at the base of the Bard Fortress. There is convenient parking with a few excellent restaurants within walking distance. Marta, the property manager, was very accommodating and responsive- we enjoyed spending time with her. There is not a working air conditioner like it states in the add. There was 1 fan, but there were 4 of us. "The hotel building is a old Italian building that has been renovated too a high standard with a modern bathrooms, but also has been decorated to in a way that reflects its history. The staff are are versed in English, are friendly and respectful and love to help in any they can. The restaurant may be a bit expensive for some, but well worth a try as the food is amazing. I only thing that could be improved in my opinion is the variaty in the breakfast buffet. Besides that, I will be returning this hotel if I ever visit this area of Italy again"

"Very clean, nice hotel , fairly modern look, rooms were spacious and clean however you are not able to control the climate control in your room you have to contact the front desk to turn on/off the AC which was a bit of a pain Otherwise an overall good place and value for what we paid .. shopping is also within walking distance "
