"Loved this home. It was quite a hassle to get help getting inside, and I stood outside for over an hour in the heat waiting. Eventually, the owner sent a neighboring friend to help who was extremely nice. Home is beautiful to see, but if you don’t speak Spanish, communication will be very difficult (obviously this is not a complaint, you’re staying in Spain after all!) I’d come again if not travelling alone. "

The lintel over the front door indicates it was built in 1776, but step inside and it’s uncompromisingly modernist – the glass staircase is particularly exciting, and it’s fun to shower in the middle of a big room. Beautiful house, many bedrooms, bathrooms, balconies, BBQ, close to the sea and very large pool on site for which we all enjoyed! "This place is fantastic. It’s in a really cute part of the village which is charming. There are shops and restaurants nearby. It’s very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the wood stove. "Really spacious property, is much bigger than it looks in the photos. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. It's in a great location, there are a few places to eat just a short walk away and a lovely Italian restaurant right next door. Opposite the restaurat there is a square where people gather to drink and children play, it's a really nice family atmosphere. Just be aware the stairs in the property may not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility. "

With easy access to the city, this spacious, old world home offered us the balance of big city tourism and R&R time while in Barcelona.
