"This was a great place for me to stay, well priced and perfectly placed for access to University and Burnside. Winnie and family were friendly and communicative. I had good access to facilities, my own bathroom, the internet was great and the bed comfortable. The owner lives on site so the house was shared with them but my part was essentially self contained with access to a shared kitchen. I will stay again some time :)"

We couldn’t get a hold of the hotel to confirm check in (as mention on our itinerary it was essential to do) however none of the numbers provided worked, finally got thru via email and I was told someone would be there at 5. But our check in stated from 3. We arrived at 3 hoping we could get checked in only to be told by a lady eating chips on the porch that they “decided 3pm would be too early so changed it to 5pm but on your booking it will still say 3...

"Lovely old homestead set in beautiful grounds. Huge bedroom with a great ensuite. Breakfast was fit for a King - too much choice if anything! Lovely welcoming hosts with a family connection to the property makes for a real home stay. They welcome you into their home and share it with you. A pleasure and a privilege to stay here."
