Blue Bay is a weekly Friday to Friday rental in the summer months. 2 night minimum during the off season.

Completely renovated beach front cottage will please everyone! Large sun porch with cozy dining & sitting areas. The 1st floor has a living room with large sofa & chairs with a TV/game area. The new kitchen has an eat-in island. The dining room seats 6. The 1st floor bathroom has a shower with a seat and the adjoining laundry area leads to a the back deck for a bit of shade, grilling, or quiet time. The 2nd floor has full hall bathroom, master suite with 3/4 bath, bedroom #2 & bedroom #3 both have queen beds. The wet bar area leads outside to a 2nd floor deck overlooking the bay. The 3rd floor includes bedroom #4 with twin beds, bedroom #5 has a double bed and a twin air mattress, and a 1/2 bath in the hall. All bedrooms have beautiful views of the bay, TVs, and internet.

Grab a towel & cross the street to the bay! Ideal for families.

Perfect Place to Enjoy Cape Charles
Blue Bay was perfectly located to enjoy not only the beach, but the town of Cape Charles. It is conveniently located to shopping and dining. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated, providing ample space for our group of ladies celebrating a milestone birthday. Perhaps our favorite place at Blue Bay was the second story deck, where we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. We hope to visit again!

Outstanding time
My girlfriends and I enjoyed a quick we can get away at blue Bay. And the weather was not cooperative whatsoever so we were grateful to have picked such a wonderful house to enjoy some great laughs. Fully stocked, spacious, clean, and unbelievable sunsets. Their property manager was absolutely outstanding as well. We were already checking availability for our annual girls trip next year before even checking out.

Perfect House, Pefect Location
This house is amazing. It is completely updated - can you say heated bathroom floors? It has a huge living area just perfect for family gatherings. The kitchen is well appointed. We enjoyed meals in the enclosed porch and sunsets on the upstairs deck. And the beach was right outside our door! We are totally in love with this place. Plus the town of Cape Charles is just a short walk, bike ride or golf cart ride away with all kinds of fun things to see. Don't miss the opportunity to rent this house!

A wonderful stay
This is a wonderful home, well appointed and very comfortable. The kids enjoyed walking to the beach, and the family loved our time on the outside rooftop patio for the sunsets! We will be back soon!

House was beautiful and worked well for our 9 family members. Fridge was ok but could have used a deep clean as someone had spilled on the lower shelf and it seeped under sticking the glass in and looking bad. Towels needed to be distributed between the bathrooms instead of most being in the main bathroom upstairs (so downstairs bathroom users knew they existed). Some of the sheets, though clean, were stained - not very appealing. Other than that things were in good order!

Great stay in Cape Charles
Cape Charles is a great town and Chessie View was a fantastic place to stay! We loved the beautiful view. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for the whole extended family. We really enjoyed spending time on the second floor deck with a very convenient minibar right by it. New furniture on the deck would have made it a bit better as some of it was worn from years of weather. We rented golf carts, which is really the only way to travel while there. Would definitely consider staying again.

The perfect beach front property!
Wanted a quiet beach getaway after 3 months of pandemic stay home. Booked this place as it was enough room for my whole family and it was perfect! Lots of bedrooms for privacy and common space for gathering to eat, watch TV or hang out and chit chat. And very important - plenty of bathrooms! Would definitely recommend this home and looking forward to another visit.

Peaceful escape
Perfect home for a peaceful Chesapeake getaway for two hardworking families! With the added stress of the past few months, being able to relax overlooking the Chesapeake was a blessing! The house was perfect for our two small families with teenagers. We brought bikes and kayaks which kept everyone busy, and also went on the clamming adventure with Southeast Expeditions, which was a blast! Several great restaurants within walking distance and many opportunities for fresh local seafood. We spent every evening on the second floor deck with a wonderful view of the sunset over the bay!

Summer perfection
The perfect house situated directly across from the beach was all our family needed to recharge. Thank you for sharing your home and this little slice of heaven called Cape Charles. My 3 year old just asked “Can we go back to the blue house?!” Looking forward to staying at Chessie View for years to come!
