"These units are exactly as advertised and pictured. We had everything we could possibly need down to a grill and cooler. Because you have direct access to the pool and canal with dock, it's a fun platform for people of all ages and many interests. Brian is as accommodating a host as you will ever find. Our most favorite VRBO yet

"This trip was one that I took with my two oldest granddaughters 19 and 16. Just the three of us. I picked this house because it had kayaks, fishing poles, bicycles, and a pool. We mainly just used the fishing poles and the pool and if we had more time, because a week is never enough, I’m sure they would’ve gotten the kayaks out too. It was so great to come home every day after exploring the surrounding area and just swim in the pool with them. The three of us tried to think of a negative, and we couldn’t come up with anything. The only negative is we don’t live there full-time. This house had everything we needed and then some. The neighborhood is quiet and there isn’t a lot of traffic on the street outside. I would recommend this to every one of my family members and I hope to go back again and take my younger grandkids. Thank you so much for opening your house up to people. It was a trip that we will always remember."

Wonderful place to stay

"My wife and I stayed at Villa Amara multiple times in the past. This time we stayed there for 2 weeks in July 2024. We found the house clean, well-furnished and peaceful as before, and enjoyed the pool and nice canal views (including beautiful sunsets) from the pool area in the back. The house manager was very friendly and helpful. We understand the owner would be replacing mattresses in the house very soon – so we look forward to sleeping on a new mattress in our next stay."
