Tropical Retreat in Southwest Cape Coral

This beautiful southwest Cape Coral home features a split bedroom design as well as a game room with a heated pool and 5 person jacuzzi in your private lanai. This home backs up to a wooded preserve and a nature trail of with abundant wildlife such as Bald Eagles and Gopher Tortoises. Both the master and guest bedroom have private entrances from the lanai. Pets welcome.

The pool heater is electric and set to 87 degrees at all times with no extra charge. The spa is a stand alone so you’re able to control the temperature there at will.

The property is just a quick drive to Cape Coral Yacht Club beach or Cape Harbour. Ft Myers Beach or Sanibel Island is only 30 minutes away. The kids can enjoy Sunsplash waterpark or the Shell Factory. Go saltwater fishing from nearby piers or book a chartered adventure. Take one of the boat cruises to nearby islands of Cayo Costa, Useppa, Captiva, or Cabbage Key.

Shopping is close at many different malls from upscale Coconut Point to the Edison Mall or outlet shops like Tanger or Miramar.

Perfect Stay
We had an awesome experience! This rental was very clean, had a beautiful pool, hot tub, and everything we needed was provided. There were lots of towels, beach towels, dish and laundry detergent, and even large bottles of shampoo and conditioner. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Wow what a Property!
We absolutely loved our stay! The pool and hot tub were so wonderful. We stayed with my 80 year old father, husband and two boys. Pete even purchased a cribbage board for us so we could play while the boys played in the pool. We made great memories! We would recommend this property to anyone staying in the Fort Myers area.

We enjoyed our stay at this home in Cape Coral. Very clean. The owner is superb! Beautiful location. The city is so clean and lots going on. Beaches were approx 1 hr away with drive time during the busy March break traffic. Fort Myers beach and Sanibel were both beautiful.

Excellent accommodation. Well situated for our daily excursions in Cape Coral, Fort Myers and Sanibel. Great place to relax in at the end of the day with a pool and hot tub. We were pleasantly surprised that the sunset was viewable from the pool/hot tub and there was a nature walking path close to the house.

Perfect for the family!
This place was perfect for our family! We had two adults, two 8-year-olds and a 6-year-old. The pool was a beautiful 86 degrees and we were able to relax while the kids enjoyed so much pool and hot tub time. It’s a nice neighborhood, and the pool area has a view of the nature trail. The hosts were great. A nice laid back experience - highly recommended!

Nice vacation
Good communication with Pete and quick follow-up with any issues. Would recommend more cookware in the kitchen with a full size coffee maker. More pots and lids along with fry pans would be great. We ended up eating out mostly. Lovely area and close to shopping.

Family getaway
The house was clean and comfortable. It appears to have been recently updated. We enjoyed using the pool and hot tub and especially enjoyed the peaceful wildlife area behind the house. We saw beautiful sunsets each evening. The living room furniture had plenty of space for us to stretch out to watch movies in the evening. The kitchen is well equipped. I would recommend staying in this house.

Excellent Stay
The house was very clean and spacious. The decor was very nice lots of towels for the bath and pool. My teens loved the hot tub and pool. We enjoyed that the pool area was screened in as no unwanted bugs were biting us! The location was a quiet neighborhood. A short drive to places we enjoyed visiting such as Sanibel Island, Cape Harbor marina with restaurants and outdoor live music and the Boathouse Tiki bar. Such a great house to stay in wish we could have stayed longer !!

Relaxing and peaceful
We enjoyed the house and felt right at home. Very relaxing and peaceful vibe. Comfy couches and beds. Well stocked kitchen. Made use of the heated pool and hot tub. We really enjoyed the nature preserve in the back yard and watching the blue herron and ducks and hearing the owls and other wildlife at nighttime. Took daily walks at the new trail right from the back yard. Neighbor was friendly and said hello. Pete was a kind and excellent host, easy to communicate and accommodated our request for an early check in. Also always appreciate that our pet was welcome. Thank you again for a wonderful stay and would choose to stay at Pete’s place again next time.

Property not clean
We never leave reviews, actually I think this is a new account, but we have been going to Cape Coral, renting similar houses, for the last 4 years. This is the first time ever, that the house seems to had not been cleaned for a while. The pool was dirty (you could see some floating residue, especially at night when the pool light was on. They claim that they have a jacuzzi, but we never dared to open it. The rug that they have to wipe your feet at the end of the jacuzzi, was green and full of mold. The mold was actually leaving the rug vaciar the jacuzzi drops some water. They lack a lot of cleaning products, kitchen utensils and so on. The first night, we stayed only two, we found a “Florida bug” walking around the bbq grill. We found 3 others inside the sink. Contacted the owner and was told there was nothing they could do. I had to drive 20 mins to the nearest Walmart that is open 24/7 to buy some raid. I think the wors part, was that I ended up getting a skin fungus that to this day, two weeks later, is still on my back. The only real good thing about this property was the gaming room. But again, they didn’t have chargers for the Wii remotes, only one of them had one light of charge (the 2nd didn’t even turn on). At last, we didn’t want to leave a bad review , but decided to do so after the owner, decided to charge us $125 for cleaning fees asocited with dog feces and pee. We are the kind of ppl that was dishes and make up beds. That was probably from someone else.

This was a great place to stay. The hot tub was everything the house looked just as it is described its beautiful and very spacious. There was a dilemma on my end but my host assured me that everything is ok and encouraged me to finish enjoying my stay.. any time i reached out i rexieved a response right after... i really appreciate pete for letting us stay this was a birthday getaway and it went well...thanks again and i recommend booking this place. Beautiful pool home, quiet neighborhood!
Stayed at this property for 5 days while working in the area. It was very well equipped and clean, back lanai with pool was perfect for relaxing in the afternoon. Very quiet and private, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again.
