"Helt fantastisk fra start til slut. Udlejeren var meget imødekommende og utrolig opsat på at vi (4 voksne og 2 børn) fik en god oplevelse. Så snart vi nævnte nogle “mangler”, havde hun løsninger parat, også helt ud over det sædvanlige. Hun var god til at fortælle om området og hvilke seværdigheder der var værd at se."

Also, the Porta Romana train station is a 6 minute walk - from there you have access to all of Italy. From the funicular, walk up Cavour which is about 10-15 degrees on the left and is the main street. There is then one left turn about 150 m from the hotel. Use your phone. I believe you can also catch a mini bus or a very overpriced taxi from the station but we didn’t sight either."

"We stayed one night and were enchanted with the fortress turned hotel in the heart of Sorano. Our room had amazing views of the surrounding town, the breakfast had fantastic coffee and a wide assortment of meats, cheeses, breads, and pastries. The owners tour of the underground wine cellars and wine making process capped off with a tasting was informative and delicious."

Perfect stay

"Super location, just a block from the Duomo. City fun to visit, explore and enjoy. Hotel offered a delicious breakfast, but by breakfast 4, I would have enjoyed a little variation. However, that’s not really important. The room was very comfortable, shower was always hot. There is an elevator if you don’t want the stairs, all the staff are helpful and friendly. We appreciated the dinner recommendations."
