The apartment is also within minutes of the train station and a bus station. We walked to the beach at Carbis Bay, walked along the coast from St. Ives, went to Tintagel, Mousehole and the Merry Maidens stone circle, explored Penzance, all in one weekend. "Beautifully converted stable in a beautiful landscape, the view from the kitchen/livingroom is gorgeous and the night sky is breathtaking. If one wants to get away from the hectic of a big city to slow down and relax, this is your place. We stayed for four days and totally enjoyed ourselves there. "

"Nice old pub, friendly staff, reasonably priced menu. Room was small but nice. Good choice of beverages. However the bathroom was icy cold with no form of heating, the hot water tap wasn't much more than a dribble and the shower very dangerous as it went from scalding to freezing with only the tiniest touch on the dial. My husband warned me not to use it."

"My room was clean and the bed comfortable. The shower was quite powerful and plenty of hot water. The breakfast is large and very tasty. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is very good, right next to the sea and about twenty minute walk into the town. I would recommend the hotel. "
