This B&B is absolutely outstanding. Impeccably finished and an absolute pleasure to stay here. Perfectly located for the Cité. This is the only place I’ll ever stay in Carcassonne in the future.
Stayed in the Pilar room and had a lovley stay. The property only have five rooms and it feels more like comming home to someone with great tast rather then checking in to a hotel. Beautiful outdoor area with a small but equally nice pool with views of the old town city walls. I prefer these type of hotel over large complex anyday of week.
Really nicely decorated. Comfy bed, good breakfast. Minimal parking and very tight to get in and out. Shower floor is slippery when it gets soap on it. Highly recommend it.
The owners had really thought about the comfort of their guests and created a relaxed environment for you to unwind in, including an outside patio area complete with splash pool and views of the castle ramparts. Lots of choice offered at breakfast and usage of the kitchen for drinks was available 24/7. The only down side was that breakfast was between 9 and 10 which I personally think is a bit on the late side, especially if you have an early flight or lots to cram in on the day, but great I suppose if you love a lie in! Location was also amazing, just 5 minutes away from the medieval Cite and a stone’s throw from lots of little bars and restaurants.
Great location to visit walled city. Easy walk with lots of restaurants along the way. A bit hidden to get to. Make sure you get email with entrance codes. Parking is not on premise. We were there on Saturday afternoon and Sunday night so we parked on the streets near by. Still a bit of a walk. The rooms were great. Pretty much self service, but the manager was quick to response by What’s Ap. Price for room definitely a bargain. Breakfast was adequate. Vey clean though.
Would have been 10/10 apart from the lack of information re: checking-in. Property is within a pedestrian-only area between June-Sept. Took several attempts to get around blocked off areas before realising that you have to park-up and walk. Once you access the property, you can get a key fob that raises one of the gates and lets you in to the pedestrian area. Wasn't an issue for us but not knowing meant we wasted about an hour of faffing around. Apart from that, couldn't fault the room or the house. Breakfast was good but nothing spectacular. The location in relation to access to the Carcassonne old town is just about perfect. Would definitely book again.
Perfectly placed for the citadel and walking into Carcassonne with Rue Trivalle on the doorstep.
Immaculately clean and very friendly staff, will definitely return.
Oasis of peace and quiet just of Rue Trivalle and only 5-10 minutes walk to the walled city of carcasson. Aircon in rooms helped make it a comfortable night despite it being hot. Had to leave early, so missed out on breakfast which was a shame, otherwise 10/10.
Excellent facilities. Good information about parking after booking.
The one drawback was only after arrival and only in the manual was it clear that breakfast began at 9. This late time should be communicated before booking
The room was very modern and 'minimalist' (though perhaps a bit too minimalist, as it was missing a trash can). The WiFi Internet was fast and reliable. I didn't bother trying to figure out how to park at the hotel; instead I found a parking spot about 1/4 mile (400m) away
I stayed in the Julie room. It's a nice and modern room, but some of the basics need sorting.
Firstly it's not really a hotel. There is no reception, you just get emailed a code and collect the key, so no ability to store bags etc. Ok so fine, but the WiFi only worked if standing by the door of the room. The showers leaks badly and floods the room.
Alright for one night, but I wouldn't stay again, certainly not at £76 a night.

Douche glissante
