"I am sorry to have missed Amelia due to her accident but Pepe was most welcomming in arranging taxi's, excursions, etc. The house with 2 rooms is centrally located just off the main strip with the beach on the other side, whilst the main hotels are located away, at either end of the strip. Internet requires the purchase of cards which can be hard to source so buy several when found as 1 hour is only 50 CUP. I would recommend this home from home."

"Cleanest place I have stayed in in Cuba. Good staff with very limited English and me with no Spanish. I arrived in terrific rain storm and the staff let me have my room early at no extra charge. Two cute, well behaved, friendly quiet house dogs. When I was waiting for a taxi the next morning, the landlady brought me coffee. Much appreciated.
