"I am sorry to have missed Amelia due to her accident but Pepe was most welcomming in arranging taxi's, excursions, etc. The house with 2 rooms is centrally located just off the main strip with the beach on the other side, whilst the main hotels are located away, at either end of the strip. Internet requires the purchase of cards which can be hard to source so buy several when found as 1 hour is only 50 CUP. I would recommend this home from home."

"Absolutely lovely space, we stayed here in Feb 2024 and can't wait to return! The room was spacious with a king size bed and had a large bathroom with twin sinks, soaker tub and a gorgeous tiled shower. Swimming is close by maybe 200m, in a sheltered bay. It's a public beach, but quiet. There is no lifeguard. Restaurants are close by, within 800m so an easy walk, but our host Jiscily makes such a wonderful breakfast that we gladly paid the extra. "Het verblijf ligt veilig gelegen en was heel erg netjes en schoon met prima douche en toilet gelegenheid. Twee twee persoons bedden en een keukenblok met koelkast. De host Daisy is top en spreek heel goed Engels. Het ontbijt was eerste klas. Het verblijf ligt 8 kilometer van het Varadero Vliegveld. Fijne restaurantjes in de omgeving waar je lekker kunt eten. "

"Cleanest place I have stayed in in Cuba. Good staff with very limited English and me with no Spanish. I arrived in terrific rain storm and the staff let me have my room early at no extra charge. Two cute, well behaved, friendly quiet house dogs. When I was waiting for a taxi the next morning, the landlady brought me coffee. Much appreciated. Nice clean place smelling slightly of new paint, always a good sign. "

It was such a pleasure staying at this location A few things to keep in mind: - There's no wifi at the residence but you can purchase a cheap wifi card from a store close to the park in Santa Marta. You'll have to ask around to find out where to purchase it and where your devices will get reception - Mara doesn't cook breakfast for visitors but there are stalls and restaurants close to the residence that you can purchase food from - The electricity does go out...

"Das Hostel liegt leider nicht auf der Seeseite der Straße. Die Ferienwohnung war im Erdgeschoss und die auf den Bildern abgebildete Dachterrasse für uns nicht nutzbar. Insofern ist die Ausschreibung nicht korrekt. Ohne Terrasse hätte wir hier nicht gebucht."
