Staff here need retraining on customer care with priority on not ignoring customers checking in; smiling when serving them at the bar and not using a drill on an adjacent bedroom door at 9am. Bar prices exorbitant. Air conditioning in bedroom broken. Nothing special about room.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Marriott. All the staff were friendly. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The Browns bar and restaurant created a great atmosphere in the hotel and we especially liked listening to the live pianist.

I love this hotel and stay frequently. The Cardiff national museum is close by and I always sleep well at the Marriott. Staff are friendly and lovely.

Nice location near the city centre with convenient car park. Clean and tidy room. Friendly staff with excellent services that you can't complain. Choice of food at breakfast is limited. 1 out of the 3 lifts was down making a long queue during peak hours.

Superb location for shopping, sporting events in the stadium and music events in the arena. Amazing staff and service (as per most marriotts tbh) friendly check in staff and every staff member always had a smile for you.

Check in was smooth. We went to the room only to realise that the heating wasn’t working . Called the receptionist and she said someone would come to check no sign , called back to find out the receptionist says that she is been told that the heating in that room is not working and so we had to change our room. Got the keys to a different room again the heaters didn’t work .The engineer comes to check there is no power ( got it fixed) . Next day went out when we came back at 4 no housekeeping had been in the room till I called to check and someone was sent. The toilet kept blocking. Over all the service has fallen below the standards that Marriott has set . I am incredibly appalled and will never go back to Marriott Cardiff I’d rather stay in a Travel lodge and get good service.
