The Receptionist was excellent and very apologetic about the delay in checking in. Unfortunately there was a queue and only one member of staff on. However once booked in everything was fine.

Lovely hotel, easy check in, spacious rooms and the bed was huge and super comfy! Reception lobby is spacious with a bar, plenty of seats and a pool table. We opted for breakfast, plenty of choice for everyone including takeaway cups for coffee and teas. The only bad thing was being charged £8 per night for parking

Room was lovely and clean however room 35 is right by the fire exits that the cleaners use and they are propped open all day meaning you get the cold breeze under your door. You also get to see the big bundles of dirty laundry piled up in the corridor and get the laundry trollies rolled passed your window all day, knocking against it, and the delivery at 0500 (yes 5am!!!) I didn’t get charged for parking on 10 Oct 24 when I stayed but this time they wanted £8 per night which they couldn’t explain. I have travelled a lot and have never witness anything like this from any other hotel, even budget ones.

Reasonably priced hotel slightly outside of the city centre. Close enough to Uber to restaurants and bars in Roath - not walkable to anything (useful) but good if you are driving as close to the Eastern Ave (A48) for getting into and out of the city.. Very clean, friendly staff, easy parking right outside, good breakfast.
