"The rooms are in a modern build anex and are comfortable, clean and very pleasant. My room and many rooms have a small balcony, air conditioning and great space. We were able to park our motorbikes right next to reception, it felt safe. "I booked a standard room. It's supposed to look to the garden but it's literally to the car park. Awful view. I asked to upgrade which took some persuasion even though the hotel had 3 rooms occupied. Got a nice room in the end. Balconies and outside areas weren't not clean. Lots of weeds in most places. "First time travelers to this area. Nice to see a different topography of Portugal. Stayed in a Cork Shelter. Comfortable space. Hot water ran out but the shower flow can be reduced to lower flow which helped. The pool was lovely to linger by in the heat. Was fun to meet the resident pigs, roosters, hens, and goats! "The best part was Mrs Dana and her husband, lovely staff that receive us and cared about the place. The room was comfortable, relatively quiet (although I am not so sure about noise isolation for the rooms). It is relatively close to Abrantes by car, and there were two fantastic dogs that immediately came to greet us. It was a wonderful experience. The place needs some investing, though; it is a really nice property but in needs of some work."

"This hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquillity. Rooms are bright and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and it was a pleasure to wake up to warm sunlight from the Juliet balcony. The location is great, with easy walking access to several restaurants in town. The staff are a credit to their organisation and helped with advice when asked. The provided information about driving tours of the area, all of which proved fascinating. We particulary recommend visiting Monsanto, Coimbra, Tomar and the Schist Villages."
