"We loved our 2 week stay in this stylish 1960s Mid-Century Modern bungalow with Lough Corrib at the end of the garden. The building is very original, retaining period features with some sympathetic updating in kitchen and bathrooms. The views out over the lough are mesmerising. "It is a really good house for a group of up to 10 people. It's three minutes from Westport by car and easily walkable too. The house overall was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The beds were really good quality and comfortable too. The only thing I would suggest is it would be great to have a few additional en suites but it worked well as it was for our group. We all agreed that we would happily rebook The Rocks were we to return to Westport again."

"I was initially rather intimidated by the antique perfection as shown on the website photos and wondered if my rambunctious family would leave it intact but very pleasantly surprised to find the house well worn and quirky . It reminded me of staying in a friends home - there was nothing to remind us that it was a rental -family possessions and photos - books and objects all trustingly left around which gave the house a warm and very haopy feel. "A somewhat isolated location surrounded by pastures and located within day trip range of a number a great locations. The host went above and beyond to offer assistance with any questions and to provide information about the area. All the basics provided in the kitchen to do simple meal preparations."

"We stayed on a beautiful estate surrounded by horses grazing on the land and their very own donkey, Jack Derby. If you call to Jack, he will come to the fence. He lets you pet him, and he expects carrots in return. John and Finola are gracious hosts, and it was nice to greet them every day. There have a beautiful garden that they lovingly care for, and many of the flowers bloomed during our 11-night stay. We enjoyed taking daily walks on the property, some of which were around 9 PM.
