The Salutation sits within the Grade II*-listed Netherby Hall and is named after a 19th-century "Lakeland Coach" used by the owners for excursions in the Lake District. This apartment boasts the perfect romantic escape for couples looking for privacy and the great outdoors. In this apartment you will find a big open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room, complete with a Smart TV and sofa bed. The bedroom is located on the same floor and is home to a 5’ king sized bed. For the added bit of luxury there is also an en-suite with large walk in shower and free standing bath.

The history of Netherby Hall dates back to Roman times, and parts of the grand house may even have been built using stones from a Roman fort. Despite the historic setting, the beautifully-decorated Engineer is thoroughly modern apartment with plenty of touches of 21st century luxury.

Situated in the Grade II*-listed Netherby Hall, the apartment looks across the Estate parklands to the Solway picturesque Scottish Hills. The first floor apartment sits in 36 acres of parkland, where you can stroll across manicured lawns, enjoy a Victorian pleasure garden and explore the Walled Garden which stretches for over an acre. The estate is located in north Cumbria, with spectacular views over the undulating landscape to the Scottish hills beyond.

We are happy to accept dogs at a minimal charge, we just need to be notified in advance of arrival.
