"This generously sized duplex apartment is clean, warm & spacious. It is conveniently located beside the Magnolta ski lift and directly beside the local public swimming pool which was ideal for us. There is a free daily ski bus shuttle that runs on a half hour basis throughout the day and this stops outside the swimming pool. The host is contactable and very pleasant to deal with. We would recommend this accommodation without hesitation. :-)"

"A little nervous as contact was the day after we had left England but from that moment on communication from the owner was perfect.......he could not have done enough for us.......the house is beautifully located opposite the lake and has everything you need for your stay. "This was mine and my husband’s first time in Italy, we stayed in Lovere for three nights out of our trip. Carmelo and Fabrizia were such wonderful hosts. They made the check in/out process very easy, and promptly answered any questions I had. The apartment is in a GREAT location, a block from the lake and the main town square. And I have to give Carmelo and Fabrizia extra thanks for accommodating the fact that my husband and I do not speak Italian, they were very nice and helped us out a lot!...

"Two weeks spent in the Valtellina at the height of summer. The house was ideally situated for exploring the various different small valleys that lead to the high mountains encircling the valtellina. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood with little or no distractions. Everything in the house was as expected and we echo the recommendation to eat at the rifugio Mello."

"Love the hotel embedded within older buildings within Tirano, yet still fully contemporary. Great location. Very spacious room, and enormous bathroom. Superb brrakfast, especially all of the local cheeses, fruit juices, yogurts, etc. The only reason for 4 atars rather than 5 was just how hard the bed was. For a side sleeper that us unbelievably uncomfortable and making for a more restless night. For mu stomach sleeping husband, it was perfect."
