"Close to the beach, the house is a bit older but maintained fairly well. The bedding and towels were clean and decent. The AC is cold appliances up to date. Not much grass in the yard, mostly sandy. Great sidewalks for going back and forth. Try to get number for your manager as the Vrbo app kept crashing."

"This cabin was perfect! Had most of the basic necessities you need, you have to bring sheets, blankets, pillow cases, towels. They do provide some basic pillows, trash bags and some dish soap/sponge in kitchen as well as basics in the kitchen for cooking. Remember to bring hand soap for bathroom and grill utensils for grilling outside. Your not guaranteed a pink cabin as in the photo but that doesn’t really matter much, also the porch is not screened in but some citronella kept the mosquitoes at bay during the evening. Already booked for next year and can’t wait to return!"

"This a very unique house, with unusual architecture. The house seems to be very well maintained, and stocked, especially the kitchen and beach supplies. It is a great neighborhood, and the pool, playground and Harris Teeter are all right across the street. Jennifer is a very responsive host, that will fix whatever may come up. The shuttle comes right by the driveway, headed for the beach. Our party was my wife and I, along with our grown children, spouses, and very young grandchildren. The house is big enough to all be together but also offer some separation. With the small grandchildren, eating meals at restaurants can be a little hectic and stressful, so we ate in the house most meals. The kitchen is well equipped. This was our 2nd stay and we will be back next year."

"Our first visit to The Outer Banks and this home was an amazing spot. We were close to the beach and the wild horses came by the house every day! The house was clean, well appointed, and the owner was super friendly and helpful. We’re definitely coming back!"

"We had an amazing time at this property. The owner is super easy to work with, and highly responsive to questions. Horses were literally everywhere; it was the stuff of dreams. Additionally, since it will take you a little more than an hour to “run out and grab something from the store”, we rucked in all of our food, and just skipped the tourist traps. One of the most relaxing vacations ever! Thank you!"

"This was the get away we needed. Beautiful home in a sand community by the ocean. Who could.ask for anything better. We loved the open space of this home. Watching the sunset from the top balcony, bbq'd, swam in the pool, relaxed in the hot tub and played a game of pool and of coarse the beach was right there. There is a small park down the road and we got to see wild horses. We had the best time. Kids were exhausted from all the fun and so were the adults. Thank you."

"Mike and Carol were absolutely wonderful to work with, and made things super easy for our family on vacation. It is so hard to find a house for our large family, but this beautiful house made our vacation so special. Bedrooms were the perfect size, and the large kitchen was an absolute DREAM!! Fully stocked, and had every item we needed for our cooking needs. The pool, and hot tub were an added bonus, and we enjoyed them especially after a day on the beach (which the walk was super easy). Kids highly enjoyed to game room, movie room. Which is always nice to have extra spaces for everyone to hang out in. Thank you, Mike, and Carol, for helping us have such a memorable time. Would highly recommend to anyone! (Also, thank you for the tips on seeing the wild horses!!! Highlight of our trip!!)"
