"The Appartment was lovely and had everything I needed. It was so close to the beach, with a great walking route. The little supermarket near by was very useful. As it was low season, the area was quiet, which suited me. I used the buses to travel a bit locally, but if you want to do more, a car would be better. Juliet sent me lots of information about places to see , restaurants etc. I definitely recommend!"

"A wonderful holiday spent relaxing, whether it was on the superb beach or just on the roof terrace, the apartment had everything. A big thank you to Valerie for letting us stay there. I would definitely recommend this to our friends. A car is a must though, pick it up from the airport on arrival, drop off before coming home otherwise taxi fee will be close to £100 there and back for a family of 3. "

"Nice property although very smelly on arrival. Wouldn’t have thought it had been open for a few weeks. Long walk to shops , restaurants etc. Well equiped. Would be nice if people cleared up after their dogs! Not very Spanish area. Mainly expats "

"We love Mar de Cristal and know it well. In June it’s lovely and peaceful. You will need a car to get out and explore the Med and Mar Menor. The host was very accommodating right from the outset and we were met by a very nice property manager. My only negative is that the stairs to the terrace has no rail, they are open and quite steep so my mother could not use them. I would also feel wary with young children as there is nothing to hold onto. Other properties had rails so something to consider....
