"We were down in the Algarve's for a while before for a wedding. We stayed here 3 nights and was delighted with our hosts care and service of our stay. They met us and gave us keys on our arrival. The son gave me a few points of interest that we could consider visiting on our stay. He highly recommended a particular location and restaurant that was outstanding and we've ver appreciative of his recommendations. Our hostess spoke French and Portuguese and we only spoke English but we had no issues...

Toaster also broken and could only toast two slices at a time. 3. Ensuite shower kept flooding floor. 4. Ensuite 2 shower had no way to be kept on wall, had to hold shower head. 5. The house is well equipped as described and exactly as it appears in the listing & photos. "Fantastic area right in the heart of the castle. However, tricky to get to as you need to park your car 10 minutes away and then navigate through the cobbled streets. The house is very quaint, but has damp issues so you can smell mould ( although it was winter, so maybe it is better in summer). Heating was a bit basic. Barthroom had a vague smell of sewerage- not really strong, but enough for me to question the high price of the accomodation. Needs to spend a lot more on plumbing and heating, or...
