Full Stop Landing - Carthage

Unique Stay! Full Stop Landing is a fully furnished hangar-house located at Gilliam-McConnell Airfield (BQ1) near Carthage in the Sandhills Region of North Carolina. This area is a golfer's and aviator's paradise and we look forward to sharing the space with our guests! Full Stop Landing combines a love for aviation and a comfortable landing zone to remedy jet lag. You'll find plenty of opportunities for both relaxation and recreation in the beautiful Sandhills Area. Walk over to the locals favorite, Pik-N-Pig Restaurant or stay in and cook a meal on property. Please note, while there is no cooktop or oven in the kitchen, there is a grill outside for your use.

With over 40 golf courses in the immediate area, your toughest decision during your visit will be which to play and if you can extend your stay. *wink*

A one of a kind property, you will have complete access to the residence during your stay. The hangar will be locked off from the Residence but viewable from a large picture window in the rear bedroom. There is room to tie down with advance preparation and a fee (the owner will need to move his aircraft). For any aviation related questions, please contact us.
