"The cabin was very rustic, set up a hill with a peak view of Lake Cascade. It snowed, making the whole setting very beautiful. It was tough getting in and out of the driveway, and road up wasn’t plowed every day, but we managed. Three negatives: no firewood (despite reviews saying otherwise), very loud furnace, and no instructions for using the tv. Despite those, we had a great stay at this cabin! "

"We loved our stay! It was the perfect place for us to get away from the chaos at a larger place that was rented nearby for the remainder of our extended family for Thanksgiving. Kitchen Aid mixer was a wonderful addition that allowed me to make some family favorites - particularly cinnamon rolls. With two kids, the included laundry was a lifesaver. Would definitely come back!"

"Cabin worked perfectly for our group of 8. Beds were a little tall for my 85 year old mother but thankfully the hosts had steps available for use. Had everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner - kitchen is well stocked. Both cars fit in the garage which was great. Grandkids had a blast playing in the snow. Being close to town was nice. Saw deer and a fox! Good weekend with the family."

"My husband and I came for a weekend anniversary trip and it was the perfect relaxing weekend. The kitchen was stocked with necessities for coffee making, cooking, etc. There was a grill (didn't use, but lovely to have the option). The hot tub was great, especially while watching the snowfall. Everything was clean, with no overpowering scent plug-ins to hide other questionable odors. "

We had a chance to visit briefly with the mother/daughter duo that works the kitchen, and they informed us that breakfast is served fresh every morning (fresh eggs, nothing frozen, etc.), and they try to make something different every day. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. The bar tender was friendly, front desk was helpful. Thank you for a cozy stay in the mountains."
