Nice, comfortable stay
Nice setting and location! Conveniences close by as well as the lake. It is a place that would invite to come back, especially in the fall/winter to curl up with a good book in the lovely living spaces. With that said, some minor details: debris behind kitchen trash can, not fully swept under kickboards in kitchen/bathroom, no napkins, not a full roll of paper towels or extra, no tissues, spare bedroom window open, and barely any propane in BBQ tanks. We didn't feel it was our responsibility to fill them as suggested in house rules binder. These are meant as helpful recommendations and would not deter us from coming back.

Nice location
The house was located in a quiet neighborhood with a view of the lake through the beautiful full grown trees. It needs some TLC in particular the leaking faucet in the kitchen and the dishwasher. The door of the dish washer hit the handle of the drawer. The house was not very friendly for older adults with handicaps. Two of our members used canes or walkers. It was difficult for them to get into the house because the front step was so tall. We rented the house because it was a one level but the handicapped individuals could not use the living room or the family room because of the step down into each of those areas. The en-suite bathroom was very small and the doorway was very narrow. The individual using the walker could not enter it with their walker. The cleaners need to pay more attention to the window sills in the bedrooms as there was old chewing gum and circular stains. It was great to getting a visit from a young doe during our stay.

Great stay
We rented in the winter and skied Brundage and Tamarack. The proximity to both ski hills was well represented in the description of the property. Definitely needed 4 wheel drive. It was nice to return and build a fire, cook our food, dry our ski clothes, wash them if needed and curl up under the blanket and watch movies. The TV and DVD player are outdated, but luckily, there were plenty of DVD's on site to choose from. All in all a great stay! I think the only thing that would make it nicer is a bathtub to rest my weary muscles after a few hard days of skiing. Also, take your own pillow! There's pillows there, but they're terrible.

Awesome Family Vacation Home!
This property was perfect for our family. The outdoor entertaining area was perfect-we BBQ'd and ate there every night. The kids were able to run around on the grass-which was manicured perfectly and play their games. We even saw deer every night accross the street. The layout of the home was ideal-two living areas-perfect with kids . 3 bedrooms and plenty of room for the kids in living rooms. Thank you for sharing your home. Used the fire pit one night-Great. Location is awesome-close to lake. Langdons in Boise May 27-June 1 , 2021

Cozy and Clean
This our second time staying at this home and we enjoy this home. Close to the lake and golf course a real plus for us. We really enjoyed the deer visiting too. Only downside was the beds; the mattresses need to be firmer. That aside,, we would definitely consider this property again.

Family Getaway in Cascade
We enjoyed our stay very much. We had a good experience overall. We did have the following problems though; 1. Could not get the Video to work on TV. Paper on refrigerator said there were instructions on the TV but there wasn’t 2. Tried to call local property manager’s cell phone twice & he never returned our call. We finally figured the video problem out the next day Overall we had a very enjoyable stay & would come again

comfortable stay
Not a real updated interior, but it still was a comfortable stay! A few issue we had: Dirty cleaning cloths left in the master bedroom on the bed, bathrooms could have been a little bit cleaner on the floors. The fridge/freezer, -freezer was a solid sheet of ice on the bottom- no problem maybe the person prior to us put the bag of ice in there half melted and it dripped until it refroze. cleaned THAT out. Noticed the fridge had water standing in the bottom, in drawers and on shelves. no problem- cleaned THAT up. By the next day, the freezer had formed its little ice rink again at the bottom, the fridge leaked (I am assuming from the freezer??) water soaked cartons and food items inside only-nothing ran out underneath on floor, seemed to be inside only. Nothing we wanted to have management there in and out during our stay so we managed, and the little cups we used to catch the water dripping from the top of the fridge inside made it manageable. Dishwasher has serious door issues but nothing the directions didn't tell us how to use. The only real issue that was a bit inconvenient was the front bathroom toilet handle didn't seem to work (stripped out, not connecting/pulling?)so not being able to flush the toilet from time to time. had to lift the tank lid to pull the flusher. All in all some small issues that need to be addressed but we all enjoyed the house, the short distance to the lake and over all our stay was great. Thank you for the fun filled weekend at this home.

Overall, very pleased with our experience
The property does not have AC, so the house got a bit warm in the afternoon and early evening. Other than AC not being listed, it wasn't completely clear that this was the case. That being said, there are fans in the house (look in the bedroom closets) which helped significantly. The AC issue is not enough for me to knock the overall rating as many homes in the area do not have that feature. The home was beautiful, everything was clean and comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend the property to others.

Great stay!
We loved the house and the location! Everything was within walking distance and we were close to the dock. We sat outside most of the time and it was beautiful. We only wish the foliage in the side yard was trimmed down a bit more to get a better view of the lake. Great stay!

Great stay in Cascade
Great location at the lake, comfortable and roomy home with an amazing covered patio. We took our boat and enjoyed easy access to the lake (1-2 minute walk from the house). The house is well equipped with everything you need. 3 bedroom, 2 living areas. The only cons were no AC so it got very warm late afternoon-early evening and would have like to have had internet and cable.

Nice Place
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The only minor blemish was that the blower on the wood stove by the kitchen did not work and when we called and left a message with the local property manager, we received no response. We felt the cleaning fee was pretty high for this size property, and the booking fee charges were confusing as we were quoted one amount total when booking and another on the confirmation. The decor was charming, the beds comfortable, and the atmosphere welcoming. Wood was provided for two stoves and we were asked to use the stoves rather than the electric furnace. Some small kindling would have made fire starting easier. We used only the stove by the kitchen and the cabin was warm and cozy. We discovered that by running the fan only (leaving the heat off) on the furnace that it drew the hot air from the ceiling and pushed it out the floor registers throughout the cabin, thus warming the bedrooms and keeping the area immediately around the wood stove from being too warm. WiFi would be a wonderful addition. The older analog TV set is for watching the DVD player only and there is no TV reception. The steps down to both living areas were a challenge for the one in our party who uses a walker to get around. Aside from the high cleaning fee, the property was reasonably priced. Over all - a very pleasant experience in a lovely setting. We would likely come back again.

Great place highly recommended, impressed.
Took my parents on a trip to remember the old days. This place was a great alternative to hoteling it. Location was awesome far enough from town but still close enough to the lake. All around great experience house was in excellent shape and equipped with everything you'll need and then some. Best part, the patio, when you have five people and you just want to BBQ and relax spend some quality time this place has it for you. Location was well maintained, plenty of room to park, landscaping excellent shape, place was clean and more clean, close to lake but just far enough from beach groups, well equipped, maintained and ready to go when we showed, zero complaints from anyone. Much Much better solution then trying to squeeze everyone into hotel rooms. This was my first experience with HomeAway and I have to admit I was impressed, I would recommend this location to anyone wanting a getaway but still be at home.
