"Loved this home. It was quite a hassle to get help getting inside, and I stood outside for over an hour in the heat waiting. Eventually, the owner sent a neighboring friend to help who was extremely nice. Home is beautiful to see, but if you don’t speak Spanish, communication will be very difficult (obviously this is not a complaint, you’re staying in Spain after all!) I’d come again if not travelling alone. "

The lintel over the front door indicates it was built in 1776, but step inside and it’s uncompromisingly modernist – the glass staircase is particularly exciting, and it’s fun to shower in the middle of a big room. "The villa is specious and in an excellent location. Easy access from Barcelona with a car. There is also a Train station 5 minutes walk. The kitchen is probably the best one we ever seen in a vacation rentals. Very comfortable and equipped with everything required for home cooking.
