New to the holiday let market, the cottage is located pride of place as you enter the charming, rural village of Haugh of Urr in South West Scotland, the cottage is both spacious and welcoming.
With the separate kitchen, dining and sitting areas, along with 3 good size bedrooms, there is plenty of room for a comfortable stay for 6 people.
Surrounded by beautiful Scottish countryside, the cottage is ideal for walkers, cyclists and ramblers or the perfect get away to simply unwind and relax.
The space
The cottage has a warm and welcoming sitting room complete with open fire, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening, family games night or a night in front of the TV.
The fully equipped kitchen is great for meal preparation and with the separate but adjacent dining area, meal times can be a great social event!
Bedroom 2 is located on the ground floor, is a good size, with comfortable double bed and plenty of storage. Bedrooms 1 & 3 are both on the 1st floor.
Bedroom one has a King size bed, dressing table, good storage space and relaxing seating area. Bedroom 3 has two single beds and a beautiful cot for guests arriving with an infant.
To the rear of the cottage, leading to the back garden, there is a small conservatory area with seating, the perfect place for morning coffee on sunny mornings (we have more than you think in Scotland!).
There is a large back garden with lawn area and patio.
The cottage is ideally located as a base to explore all that the stunning region of Dumfries & Galloway has to offer. In the village itself, The Laurie Arms, an award winning local pub, serves fantastic meals and is in easy walking distance from the cottage.
The town of Dalbeattie is only 6 minutes drive from Haugh of Urr, here you will find supermarkets, restaurants, cafe's and a selection of independently run shops.
On arrival at the cottage you will find dedicated off-street parking at the rear of the property with enough room for 2 cars

Guests will have unlimited access to the house & garden.

If you would like to make use of the cot please note that your own linen will be needed as linen is not supplied for this.

The online verification process requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once verification is successfully completed, the check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
