"Uniquely different property. Appears to be a Nice set up for hunters/fishermen. A little deceiving listing as it is not on the water. You can see the River and a short walk across the road to the dock but not on the River. It is in a residential area. "

"My 21 year old daughter, 19 year old son, dog, and my husband and I enjoyed Pepin for the first time over the weekend. We loved how close we were to the marina and beach! Our dog had a great time swimming. We walked around the cute town, then drove to the winery which was amazing. The sleeping arrangements were a bit tight for us, but we managed with a blow up bed that was brought over. The fences in yard was perfect for our dog. We really enjoyed this beautiful area! Thank you!"

"Super clean, and convenient location. Fall colors were spectacular up and down both sides of the lake and waterways. Some restaurants were closed M-T-W, but everything was in full swing for the weekend."

"The inside is much better than how it looks outside. It was very clean and served our purpose. The bathroom sink was a bit small and the shower had amazing water pressure but unfortunately when we were leaving on Sunday one of us has to take a cold shower. "

"Clean, comfortable & quiet room with interesting history and everything we needed for our weekend stay. We enjoyed family, fishing & football (a Packers win!) at the Waumandee Country Bar, located right across the street from these sweet accommodations. We'll be back!"

"Lovely historic hotel with modern amenities in the heart of a small town on the river front. Once checked in I could have all of my needs met by foot! A nice brewery, restaurants and the river front all within a mile. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever enjoyed in a hotel. Hours are spotty, but I did get to enjoy both the basement Speakeasy as well as the dining room for breakfast. Wonderful stay overall."

"When I first saw the place, my heart sank. Dirty and grungy and full of webs and bugs on the outside. But the interior was quite nice. I only noticed 2 minor things -- mop board below the toilet paper was dirty, and the vent fan needs to be cleaned. We had a good stay. Hot tub is perfectly functional. Easy walking distance to National Eagle Center, river walking paths, restaurants/bars. "

"This is a very comfortable, cozy cottage with all the amenities one could want Every detail has been thoughtfully considered so that guests feel special and spoiled. The coffee bar and drawer was a real treat. We also really enjoyed the outdoor firepit complete with s'more fixings. The quiet location is perfect for a relaxing stay and close to many shops, winery and restaurants too."

"Our group of eight friends had an incredible stay at this VRBO property in Alma, Wisconsin. Nestled in a secluded spot with no nearby neighbors, it offered the ultimate retreat into nature. The expansive land, abundant wildlife, and serene surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for our getaway. The property itself was ideal for our group. We particularly loved the wrap-around deck and porch, which gave us ample space to relax and enjoy the stunning views. The pool was a huge hit, offering a refreshing escape during the day, while the firepit was perfect for cozy evenings under the stars. Tim, the host, was fantastic. He was quick to respond to any questions we had and provided helpful tips before our arrival, which made our stay smooth and enjoyable. Overall, this VRBO was everything we hoped for and more. It was a perfect blend of comfort and seclusion, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other’s company in a beautiful setting.
