"Place was great and as advertised. Though likely because of the previous renters we did encounter some issues. Hosts were still there cleaning at check in time and did arrive before check out. The hot tub and pool were not ready for us as they had to clean and drain the tub so first day was off use. Otherwise place was as advertiesed and if not for the crazy amount of wasps in the overall area not just the home it would have been a perfect spot. "

The hosts have thought of everything - a great kitchen, a cozy living area with a gas fire and every comfort you need, including a great two-person hot tub on the deck. We'll be back!"

"Our family of four adults traveled to Nelson to ski at Whitewater. We absolutely loved Chara's Railtown Suite. Spacious, comfortable, well appointed, and just a really homey feel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Walking distance to bakeries, restaurants and shopping. The main bedroom was very spacious with a sitting area (couch and chair) and the bed was very comfortable. "Great place with lots of room for our men’s 50+ group of 7. A short 5 min walk to the Silverlode chair. Hot tub is a bit far from the front door and navigating getting into and out of the tub was difficult for some. Kitchen serving utensils could use some additions. Otherwise a great stay."

"We needed a place to rest and recover between two backcountry ski trips and this was the perfect place. Lisa was extremely helpful and accomodating during our visit. We loved the location as we could walk to everything. It is quite uphill to get back home, but not too daunting. The old house is very comfortable and furnished for comfortable living. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking even though we mostly went out. I highly recommend this place!"
