"This home was perfect for our get together with longtime friends. The beach location was wonderful and we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. It’s a condo unit towards the back of the property and we were able to negotiate the road in the dark. I had trouble with the access code, user error no doubt but the owner checked to ensure we were in. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. I would recommend this comfortable, nice home on the beach!"

"This is the third time we've stayed at Monterey Dunes, in different VRBO's. This one was was clean, well supplied and worked perfectly for our family (5 adults, 2 kids). The property manager gave us timely information on check in and clear information on check out. The pool and hot tub area were great. They're remodeling the office area near the pool and have installed brand new tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts. The complex is a short drive to Monterey and Carmel."

Castroville ended up being a good choice for us because we were able to get to Monterey easily, enjoy the activities around Moss Landing, and go fruit picking up in Watsonville.
