Nice area with lots of surrounding options for dining, walking or shopping. Located right in the middle of the town. The hosts were cordial and communicative and also very welcoming. The property itself is different from the pictures advertised, not sure why, but the overall experience was satisfactory.

It was a nice apartment, it had plenty of security. It was clean, fairly convenient. A microwave would have been a huge plus. Parking was a nightmare, I parked between the blue lines as instructed, I still got 2 parking tickets (56E) of course the garage would have been 25/night. So for 4 nights I guess I got off cheaper. But I still had to deal with 2 tickets that probably should have been 10e/ea.welcome to Italy.

The residence was lovely, aircon in both bedrooms and living space was great for getting back from a hot day out. The appartment was very clean and they even let us drop our bags off in the appartment early before cleaning was finished which was very kind of them. The lady that let us in was lovely and we had a free bottle of wine on arrival. The appartment had a washing maching which was a life saver, the balcony was a nice size. The walk to the main tourist area past Bellini park is about 15 mins, which our kids (6 and 9) were fine with. Catania was a beautiful city and we had a fab time. An uber from the residence to the sandy beach was €20-€30. We would recommend staying here.

The manager and the house cleaning staff were wonderful and very helpful. Would have liked to have more supplies for cooking, like a good bread knife, cutting board and maybe a drip coffee maker.

We were in the apartment, a family of 4. The apartment is very small in the photos, it looks big and spacious The pictures are very misleading The shower is really small, you can hardly move in it We had a problem that there was no hot water to shower when we returned from a trip in the evening and it was only fixed the next evening In our opinion, the service is very poor They said we would receive compensation and did not give any compensation Good things to say: The kitchen is spacious and equipped The living room is spacious One spacious and comfortable bedroom Their service is kind and nice people

The apartment was clean, all the facilities worked , including the air conditioning which as great. Unfortunately the lift broke down so carrying suitcases up / down four flights of marble staircase was a challenge . Also be aware there are three sets of codes to get into the apartment and to lock / unlock the door of the apartment took a day or so to master it. Luckily we got help from others in the apartment. Admittedly we were tired after our flight and there is alot of information to take in. Lesson, before agent leaves, make sure you go through the entey codes youself to make sure you can get in/out the building.

We stayed for 5 days at one of the Ferrini apartments. The photos in the description are a little misleading as the apartments might look very nice on the surface but are actually just pretty passable. The mattress was very soft which lead to some uncomfortable nights. The bathroom upstairs including the shower cabin is very small. The stairs that connect the living room and the bedroom are made out of some sort of metal which when used are very loud. The balcony (from which you can actually spot the Etna) cannot be used as the AC’s are outside next to some garbage cans. The TV is way too small and not up to date. No applications or anything. Just Italian television. The wifi signal was way too bad. Almost not useable. The natural lighting in the whole apartment is too dark. You can also here the next door neighbours as the walls are too thin, especially when the neighbours are using the stairs in their apartment. Overall just an okay experience. The apartment is located pretty close to the centre though.

Bugs / cockroach in property - Poor service.

Bugs in property on first night. Bug spray provided by cleaner. Reception did not understand my issue, luckily cleaner was cleaning other rooms and helped me. Further issue with cockroaches in property. Again reception could not understand my full issue and when they eventually did they advised cleaner had sorted it and removed cockroach. After returning to the property and been advised it was sorted. The cockroach was still there (the cockroach was 1.5 inches bug as well!) So they either lied to me or did not understand what i was asking them to confirm. Further issue. Power tripped in property. I only had tv, washing machine on and the air con, receptions answer was Don't have the air con on whilst i am washing my clothes! (During a heatwave!) very poor response. Very disappointed. Property looks nice on pictures but i would not recommend staying here and i would not stay here again. Only saving grace was the lovely Marina who checked me in and helped with some of my issues.
