The hotel is located at the center of major tourist attractions, restaurants and transportation. The furniture and fixtures are old but the hotel is very clean. No elevator or food available at the hotel. Great views from the room.

The hotel is placed very close to Via Etnea: it is, therefore, easy to reach it. The breakfast is not served in the hotel, but you have a ticket for a very close pastry which is very well sorted of sweets and others.

I’d rather sleep in the car.
Reception did not speak any form of English. We arrived by car, called ahead to get directions to the hotel parking lot (which we were informed they had) and they said something in Italien and hung up. They don’t have any parking spots. We slept directly on the springs in the madras, the floor was more comfortable. There was mould in the bathroom, the inventory was crappy and looked like it was about to fall apart. A bad hotel, way overpriced.

Disappointed and disgusted!!
The location was good, close to piazza del duomo the main square, and it was very convenient if using public transportation. This hotel is not a 3 star as stated on the website site, it’s a 2 star. The breakfast was at a bar close to the hotel. It was only a coffee and croissant and not a full breakfast as stated on your web site. There was no safe in the room and the web stated that there was a safe. The bathroom was disgusting, not very clean , dirty tiles, the shower was just a corner with a small shower curtain, the water would overflow the rest of the bathroom. I very disappointed with this hotel , I would never here again.

Great location to be in Catania right on the piazza. Great view from our balcony it faced the Cathedral and the Elephant fountain on the piazza. Anyone who travels would like this hotel. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Their English skills were not strong but I didn't find the use of English to be strong in Catania in general; you are in a foreign country people. I enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Best location at budget prices
The hotel is at the best possible location, directly at the Duomo square. As a budget hotel, it meets the typical Italian standards, the room is dated but clean, the bathroom was updated and modern but the shower was very small. There is no elevator but that suits me fine since elevators in buildings like these tend to be clunky, so I avoid them in any case. Breakfast was a voucher to get a hot drink and pastry at the best cafe in the square, which is my favorite way of doing breakfast in Italy, so this worked out great.

Es gab kein Aufzug, 65 Stufen in den dritten Stock mit Koffern. Es gab keine Parkplätze obwohl diese beworben wurden. Es gab keinen Frühstücksraum obwohl dieser beworben wurde. Das Frühstück gab es in einer Kaffeebar auf dem Platz. Ein Getränk und ein Kaffeestück waren das erweiterte regionale Frühstück. Der Föhn im Zimmer war defekt; die Dusche war nur für schlanke Menschen begehbar die einen BMI von unter 25 haben. Die Zudecken waren teilweise mit Flecken, zerrissen und sehr alt. Positiv waren die Lage, die Freundlichkeit des Personals und die funktionierende Klimaanlage.

Åpnet for om lag 160 år siden, og har nok derfor hatt sin storhetstid for en god stund siden, men det er svært sentralt beliggende og det er hyggelig service. Lite varmtvann i dusjen. Litt harde senger. Men et svært hyggelig opphold sett i forhold til prisen.

Hotellet va gammalt men höll ändå en bra standard. Man fick en fjärrkontroll till air-con för rummet, vilket känns lite gammaldags... men över lag va rummet rymligt och ok säng. Badrummet va lite trångt dock, men överkomligt. Frukosten fick man en kupong för att gå till ett café vid närliggande torg. Där fick man välja en vara på tallriken och en dryck, alltså ingen frukostbuffé. Hotellet ligger perfekt geografiskt eftersom det ligger nära alla sevärdheter och enkelt att ta sig till stranden från närliggande bussterminal. Enda nackdelen är att det ligger en nattklubb intill hotellet som spelar dunka-dunka musik till småtimmarna. Jag har inte svårt att sova när jag är trött så störs inte så mkt av ljud. Men ha dessa parametrar i åtanke när du bokar hotellet. På det stora hela är jag nöjd med vistelsen och läget. Men frukosten är som sagt lite snål och det är inte så ljudisolerat på hotellet. Men vill man bo centralt till ett bra pris så är det helt ok.

Es gibt keinen Aufzug im Hotel !! Das Personal war leider nicht sehr freundlich. Wir hatten das Gefühl eine Belastung für sie zu seien und nicht erwünschte Gäste. Das Hotel liegt Zentral und ist gut mit Öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist nicht im Hotel, sondern in einem Lokal gegenüber.
