"When we arrived at the hotel it had closed down four weeks previously. A notice on the door informed us to which hotel we had been transferred. This was difficult to access as the hotel next to The Chevalier( our new destination) was still under construction. There was no drop off point for luggage and my husband had to carry all bags from a car park about 7 minutes walk away. We were greeted by black billowing smoke. "The room was fairly large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom needed a bit of attention as the shower head didn’t really fit the holder and kept flipping downwards.
