Catseye Beach is a perfect crescent of sand overlooking the royal-blue reefs and forested mountains of Whitsunday Island, making it a popular backdrop for weddings. If you would like a more energetic experience of Catseye Beach, make the most of the range of watersports activities that are available. Located on the resort side of Hamilton Island, Catseye Beach is easily accessible and has plenty of convenient amenities. The beach is within easy walking distance or a short buggy ride from anywhere on the island. The beach is free to visit, however equipment rental prices vary.

Had an enjoyable 4 nights and found the place clean and comfortable. The pools are fantastic. I was apprehensive about the dining options but the food tasted absolutely amazing at the two restaurants. We had one night where the emergency alarms went off at least 5 times that we heard. However when asleep it is hard to hear the alarms inside the room. Which wouldn’t be good in an emergency. Staff were all friendly and helpful. It would be great if there was another option of getting to and from the island to Airlie beach and Hamilton island though. Especially in the evenings. We missed out on one of our nights due to ferry leaving ten minutes prior to arrival of the bus after our flight and had to find accommodation elsewhere at last minute. Would totally return to daydream island and absolutely adored the aquariums

I was advised that there is a complimentary shuttle bus and can be adjust if any of us need the bus earlier than 11am but didn’t mention that there is a strict 11am starting route . That’s why I booked with Freedom Shores even they are quite far from the center (15-20 mins driving )but if I had to choose again the distance will put me off rebooking with them. Otherwise all the rest was excellent.

11/10 this place is amazing! Of all the things in such an idyllic, serene, relaxing, secluded and beautiful place - the food was our highlight! Our activities focused around getting back for meals! Friendly and welcoming staff provided great service without being overbearing. We truly switched off for a few days and it was worth every cent.
