"Such a lovely rural property with vineyards, orchards, a veggie patch, and bird life - blue wrens, robins and swallows. A cosy home with comfy beds, a well stocked pantry, coffee machine and even fresh farm eggs. We loved the seats in the octagonal window where we could just sit and enjoy the scenery. Being able to bring doggo is so important to us as she's an integral part of the family. A fantastic spot to get away from everything. But still close enough to town to get supplies. Highly recommend. !"

If we did not have to chase after a toddler I might have never left the deck of the cabin. The location and views, no words can express the beauty and the peace you we felt just sitting there. "The cabin is very well appointed with everything you could need and beautifully set in bush surrounds near the river with lots of lovely big trees. The large verandah was the perfect resting place with a variety of seating choices to enjoy the wind in the trees and the visiting Ringneck parrots, wrens, Alpaccas, geese and a lovely king skink and her baby. Thank you for our 4 nights of perfect peace."

"The outlook of the property far exceeds the photos. So many birds and other wildlife to keep you entertained during your stay. Superb location right near town. Property owners were lovely and very welcoming. Would I stay again?? Definitely."

"We were so impressed with the Shambala guesthouse. Beautiful rooms, cozy common rooms and fabulous brekky. You will need a vehicle to drive to Bridgetown for dining options but it is not a big deal. I would not hesitate to recommend this gem. We had a very relaxing 2 nights. Thanks so much "

"We have just had 3 beautiful days and nights in a rustic timber house set in the hills of Bridgetown for our 35 Wedding Anniversary. Friends over one evening, feeding all the native birds that come to the verandah, the sounds of nature were so refreshing and great for recharging our batteries. Loved the house and everything about it, full of all sorts of quirky things. It has a great fur baby yard, we don't have a dog but can see how they would love it as well"
