"This is a beautiful, historic hotel located in an isolated area in the mountains 35 minutes outside of Salerno. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was comfortable, but unfortunately for me and my family it was a little too remote for us. It’s about a 10-15 minute drive from Cava de Tirreni and 35-40 minutes from Salerno. I didn’t realize the distance when we booked the hotel. If you’re looking for a location where there are restaurants and shops close by, this might not be the best...

"We celebrated our father’s 80th birthday at Casa del Nonno and could not have been happier with the experience. From the moment Ricardo met us to guide us to the house, to the spectacular house and views, and then our visits to the beautiful local coast and towns, it was faultless.
