"An unusual hotel consisting of small houses that constitute what was originally an abandoned village. It is a true delight, we had a well equipped kitchen (enjoy making our own breakfast) and a beautiful small private patio surrounded by flowers. The room was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The on site restaurant is the best on the west coast. The pool is a good size and wonderfully warm. We were nervous upon arrival because we had not heard from host or received specific instructions and so weren't sure how we would get in or get a key. "Stone cottage was modern, yet felt like it was centuries old. Neil was an awesome host. The little gifts he left for us, which included milk, wine, hot cocoa, and more made us understand why his reviews glow. An added bonus was the night-time entertainment provided by the near-by nesting Cory's Shearwaters. They were like little ghosts flitting about. We'd stay here again."
