"The house is wonderful, with plenty of space to use and comfortable. However, it is extremely important to have some adjustments for the safety of the guests. My father-in-law didn't see the step that connects the kitchen to the living room and ended up falling, thankfully he didn't get hurt. The house needs signage on the steps, a non-slip mat to put in the bathtub, which is slippery, and a manual on how to use the stove, which we ended up not being able to use. Otherwise, the house is great...

"What a beautiful property! We had an hours-long tour with Kathy, the caretaker, who lives in a cottage at the back of the property. There was so much to explore! The kids loved the pool. We played tennis. We walked, and walked, and walked. Quirky, and fun! Kathy and the team go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Beds were comfy, and lots of care taken to keep the place clean and visually interesting. Enjoy! "

"My stay at DERWENT DELIGHT was highly disappointing. The property lacked cleanliness, with dust and grime covering furniture, beds, linens, and carpets. To make matters worse, the property was plagued by an overwhelming number of spiders and cobwebs. Everywhere, there were webs in corners, ceilings & on furniture. This not only created an uncomfortable living environment but also raised serious concerns about the property's overall hygiene and maintenance. We spent around 2-3 hours cleaning...

"We were roadtripping from Adelaide to Melbourne and overnighted in Mt. Gambier. We were a family of 5 so we only had access to the main house. It sleeps 10, but 5 or less people only access the main house. Overall, I would recommend this place and think they've done a great job. It's right off a main road and does have some constant traffic, but the noise wasn't too much of an issue. The decor and comfort was reasonable and we did make use of the washing machine. The dryer hadn't been cleaned...
