I've never written a negative review about a property but I rely heavily on reviews so thought I'd share my experience. I'll start off by saying the owner is friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, this was more a place to stay if you're looking for a very basic stay where you want to rough it. The room is super hot, the bed is uncomfortable and when walking back at night there isn't proper lighting. I don't recommend it to female solo travellers. I did not feel safe. When I requested to leave due to not feeling safe the owner said I had to pay the balance. So I ended up booking at a different hotel and lost my money. Unfortunately expedia wasn't helpful when I requested a partial refund for the original room, which was disappointing.
