"Stayed in the older half of the property, room was still really nice and clean. Comfy bed and nice shower. Just stayed 1 night on a roadtrip, traveling solo, felt safe the whole time. Front desk staff was blah, forgot to write down or even tell me my room number, so had to go hack to get it once I realized it wasnt on my key envelope, security at casino was a bit of a jerk when I went the wrong way once. "

"My husband and I and another couple stayed at this great little house the beginning of October. We couldn't have asked for a greater space to meet. The beds were super comfy, the house was very clean and the kitchen was great for cooking and sitting around the table catching up. The Outlet Mall was literally a block away and though we didn't shop, we did use the Mall for an evening walk because it wasn't busy. We would highly recommend visiting the Barker Mansion which is also in walking distance. The staff there were so knowledgeable and made the visit very interesting. We will definitely stay here again if it is available when we return to Michigan City."

"The place was cozy! and well-equipped! except there wasn't a W/D or ironing board and iron. The views aren't great. The front faces the back of the outlet stores and the side faces a vacant lot. But it felt very safe and comfortable. Parking can be limited. There's only space for about 6 cars and I couldn't find anywhere close to park when the spaces were full."

"What a nice house and lovely rental apartment. Highly recommend for a single person or a couple. The location was good, traffic and trains can be heard but running the fan in On mode helps drown out the noise. Good security with the lighting and auto door locks. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. "

"We decided to take a last minute trip to Indian Dunes state/national park area with another couple. There were 4 adults and 4 kids, so we decided a 3 bedroom property would work for us. 1 bedroom for each couple and a bedroom for kids. However when we arrived, we quickly realized that this was actually a 2 bedroom cabin instead of a 3 bedroom cabin. The "3rd" bedroom has a small partial divider in the upstairs bedroom to divide the double bed from the other double bed and futon. This was VERY disappointing as now we had to put 2 of the children in the downstairs "game room." This game room had a door that would directly access the driveway. This is not ideal when you have young kids like ours. Now on top of this when we arrived at the cabin, the temperature was 83 degrees! They had a wifi thermostat, so at the very least they could have attempted to cool down the house before we arrived, but they made no such attempt. Several hours later, the temperature was not budging, so we contacted the rental management company. They stated they would get someone out there "as soon as they could." We ended up sleeping with the windows open in some of the rooms, because it was a cooler night, but extremely muggy. We made several attempts to contact the company and they never had it fixed the entire weekend. We were fortunate to have milder weather, but that is besides the point. They advertised AC, they should have reasonable AC. Among other issues there was mold in the coffee maker...."
