"La Corrèze est magnifique. Mais la résidence était extrêmement sale. Des murs jaunis et tachés aux poils d’animaux sous chaque meuble, le ménage normalement réalisé entre chaque location a clairement été oublié toute l’année.L’habitat était également en piteux état : des volets cassés qui ne fermaient pas aux portes difficiles à fermer. The exterior and surrounding grounds of the house were enchanting. Each time we went away for a day to do some sight-seeing - on our return, seeing the house always made us smile. "The house has been renovated nicely and has most things that you need, except wifi! There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful...

Good starting place for walks. From 00:00 also very good for night photography. Well received and got a lot of information about the region and surroundings.
