There is a tiny table with two chairs outside the door and a larger space with garden furniture under a canopy further down the garden, although this would be more comfortable if it could be contrived to put it on level ground. Nous aurions trouvé agréable qu'il y ait aussi des activités à faire dans les environs, mais Eric et Marie-Hélène n'y peuvent évidemment rien. Points négatifs : - Le jardin n'est pas entièrement clôturé, ce qui est VRAIMENT nécessaire pour notre chien. Heureusement, nous avons pu improviser une barrière avec du fil de fer trouvé sur place, sinon nos vacances auraient été beaucoup moins reposantes. -...

"Hébergement très calme pour pouvoir s'échapper du quotidien anxiogène parisien. Les hôtes ont été super, bienveillants et accueillants. Il y a un espace extérieur imposant où nous avons passé la plupart de notre temps (sans compter la piscine) avec mes amis, que ce soit pour manger, jouer au ballon, ou juste bronzer. Attention, la voiture est indispensable :)"

"Van alle gemakken voorziene woning met gezellige veranda en grote tuin. Mooie plek om in de avond buiten te zitten en daar nog een klein vuurtje te maken op de vuurschaal. Ook de buiten barbecue is prima ! Het zwembad is super, wat een luxe om die bij je huis te hebben. In de omgeving is genoeg te zien en te doen , van pittoreske dorpjes tot wandelen en kanoën. De historische hoofdstad Limoges is ook zeer de moeite waard om een keer bezoeken! Wij hebben een hele mooie vakantie gehad !!"

"Deze gîte bestaat niet. De advertentie gaf geen huisnummer. Wij hebben aangeklopt bij het enige huis in deze straat. Dit huis leek onbewoond.(stoffig en vuil) Ik heb rondgevraagd of er een gîte in de buurt was, maar niemand wist ergens van. Van de "eigenaar" heb ik nooit een telefoonnummer gekregen, hoewel ik daar expliciet om gevraagd heb. Gelukkig hebben we na lang zoeken een chambre d'hôte gevonden 20 km verderop, maar mijn geld ben ik kwijt..."

"Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre location et avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Max le propriétaire. Un panier de bienvenue personnalisé. Des chambres à thèmes. Une grande cour pour manger dehors et laisser les enfants jouer. Le village est petit mais tout est présent : supérette, boulangerie, boucherie, bar tabac. Nous conseillons les activités du lac de Saint pardoux! En brefs un moment très appréciable !"

"Staff are very friendly, professional and polite! Breakfast was nice. Room quite small but was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was quite hard/firm. Shower room had a musty/damp smell and some mould in shower, extractor fan didnt seem to work and the shower head wouldnt stay up (kept falling down the adjustable bar) so had to bend down to wash my hair. Didn't have time to use the pool unfortunately. The restaurant attached to the hotel was good, again great staff! "

"The location of the hotel (at the end of the motorway) is perfect. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. It has very limited facilities eg no gym or relaxation area. Breakfast was limited for our UK palette, eg the only egg option was boiled and you had to do it yourself, so it was not worth (in my view), the £13 pp additional charge. There were also no options for evening dining on site and as our stay included a Sunday and everywhere was closed it caused us...

A fab holiday

"We stayed as a group of 16 and had a fabulous week at La Grange. The kids loved the pool, the woods, the cinema room when it was cloudy, and the swing was a big hit. The adults loved the bbq and outdoor seating for dinner and sundowners. The kitchen was really well equipped. There was so much space and the play room / games room had toys and games for all ages. Communication was fab and they helped us with some recommendations of places to go as well. A fab week. "

Points négatifs : - Le jardin n'est pas entièrement clôturé, ce qui est VRAIMENT nécessaire pour notre chien. Heureusement, nous avons pu improviser une barrière avec du fil de fer trouvé sur place, sinon nos vacances auraient été beaucoup moins reposantes. - Piscine chauffée, mais en raison d'un incident avec des animaux qui ont endommagé le volet, l'eau n'était malheureusement pas assez chaude pour nous. - Certaines choses mériteraient d'être rafraîchies ou remplacées. - Il y a des objets/vêtements/nourriture appartenant à d'autres personnes dans la maison, que je retirerais personnellement. Points positifs : - Des propriétaires très sympathiques et accueillants. - Avant notre arrivée, nous avions demandé s'il y avait une chaise haute pour enfant, et ils nous ont dit que oui. Cependant, à notre arrivée, ils nous ont informés qu'ils venaient tout juste de l'acheter suite à notre demande. Nous avons trouvé cela vraiment gentil. - L'endroit idéal pour fuir toute agitation. - Très beau jardin. - La maison est équipée de tout le matériel nécessaire. Il ne nous a rien manqué."

A good base for us!
