"This property was amazing for our children, offering plenty of entertainment, including pétanque, pinball machine, trampoline, swings, playhouse, basketball, swimming pool and table tennis. The children were in their element. The view was incredible and the location perfect for days out and popping to the boulangerie in Meyssac, which was lovely. Collonges la Rouge was such a gorgeous village and only 10minutes away. The only reason we have marked this down is due to the black mould encountered...

"The house is perfectly situated not far from Argentat sur Dordogne, in very easy walking distance and so we were able to enjoy the benefits of the town without having to drive. The house is lovely and the pool is amazing. It was very hot in the first week we were there so struggled a little with the heat at night but in the second week it cooled down so was much more comfortable. "A lovely, rustic gite, clean, tidy, comfortable and well equipped. Nicely isolated but only 10 minutes from Argentat-sur-Dordogne, with its shops and bars. The private pool was excellent and the patio was a lovely space to relax in the warm evenings."

"From start to finish our experience of this beautiful cottage has been second to none, from the warm welcome we received, the fantastic location, the scenery and of course the pool. Although shared with the owners, it was excellent, cleaned daily and always inviting, especially as the weather was so hot. "We had flushing issues with the toilet but the staff fixed the problem immediately. The receptionist was nice because we needed a refund for a breakfast that we were not going to use, and we got the refund immediately. Overall we felt safe within the property."

"This property was amazing for our children, offering plenty of entertainment, including pétanque, pinball machine, trampoline, swings, playhouse, basketball, swimming pool and table tennis. The children were in their element. The view was incredible and the location perfect for days out and popping to the boulangerie in Meyssac, which was lovely. Collonges la Rouge was such a gorgeous village and only 10minutes away. The only reason we have marked this down is due to the black mould encountered in one of the bedrooms. This was a problem for us with several family members suffering with respiratory concerns. We did let Jerome and Samuel know and they dealt with it promptly. The house was otherwise very clean. Another point of note is that there are only 2 toilets despite the 3 bathrooms. One toilet upstairs separate to the shower rooms and the other under the stairs downstairs. In our view another one is needed when you are catering to large groups as taller members (6’5”) of our group couldn’t use the one downstairs. "

"The young lady on reception went out of her way to help me get a meal as the nearby restaurant was closed and there was nowhere nearby that I could reach on foot. We conquered the language barrier and I was able to have a meal delivered. Excellent service."
